Training Leader & Facilitators
  • The team of various experts, specialist and trainers will be led by Rafael Salguero. Mr. Salguero has been involved with international students and teachers since 1979 on a wide range of courses. His qualifications include an MA in ELT for Specific Purposes (Distinction) from the University of Warwick, LLUK Professional Recognition (ESOL specialist) and Trinity College (London) TESOL Licentiate Diploma. He has worked with groups of teachers from China, Russia, Hungary, Turkey and Thailand, he ran a teacher training workshop in Moscow in 1997 and has provided induction training for new teachers for many years. His areas of professional interest include classroom discourse and communication in the workplace.

  • Gregory Barron has been involved in English language teaching for the last few years. Gregory has been heavily involved in the development of an innovative teaching programme for young learners, on-line teaching programmes, course design and development, exploring innovative teaching techniques and teacher training.

  • Full details of all other trainers will be provided nearer the date.
Assessment
  • Participants will be expected to keep a self-reflection journal and contribute to / participate in the some of the above sessions / workshops.
Academic / School Visits
  • Visit to a local primary and secondary school (Class observation, discussion with teachers and students.

  • Visit to Oxford University Campus and free time in Oxford.
Weekends Time for own Recreational activities / Shopping / Partying! *Academic Guidance and Support will be available on Saturdays

Flight costs However, an arrangement for a group booking will be made so that you can benefit from cheaper deals with group rates.

Lunch / Dinner

Being in a central location you will have access to the restaurants in your hotel and your surrounding areas – Italian, Mexican, Chinese, Indian etc., We advise you to dine at various restaurants / pubs and mix with the local people. A relaxing evening will be good for you to experience and understand ways of British life and culture. Approximately an average meal will cost you from £5 to £10 per/person in a group.


Pre-meals are available for an additional charge of:
£3.50 for Vegetarian & £5.00 for non-vegetarian (fresh food, minimum 3 items and different varieties every day.
* These meals need to be booked in advance before your travel to the UK.
