The goal of Birmingham College is to establish long-lasting working relationships with Educational Representatives. Representatives that represent the college will be asked to both recruit and assist international students in the process of applying to Birmingham College.
This overview provides an outline of the Birmingham College's expectations of Educational Representatives and the processes Representatives are requested to follow when recruiting on behalf of Birmingham College. A letter of intent, along with an authorized Student Recruitment Agent certificate, will be issued to an Educational Agent to initiate a relationship between the Educational Agent and the College. Once a student has successfully been recruited to Birmingham College, the College would then be in a position to sign a formal Educational Agent Agreement.
Educational Representatives will be paid commission at an industry standard rate for each student that is successfully recruited and registers at the College. The commission will be remitted to the agent once the student's tuition has been paid in full and the student has been in classes for a period of one week. Commission is based on the first program or first year of a program that a student is registered for.
When working as an Education Representative for Birmingham College, the Representative will be responsible for:
As Educational Agent all correspondence and/or requests from the applicant will be relayed through the Educational Agent.
Birmingham College will be responsible for:
- Providing Letter of Intent and an authorized Student Recruitment Agent certificate.
- Providing appropriate information and supply of promotional materials
- Notifying Agent of any changes in fees, schedules, policies or procedures
- Channelling all applicant correspondence including Letter of Acceptance through Agent.
- Paying Education Agent Commission one week after student has been in classes and full tuition has been received. In the event the student withdraws from the college, the commission will be deducted from the student's refund of tuition.
Birmingham College wishes to ensure a high quality of service for its prospective students and maintain the good name and reputation of the College worldwide. Consequently, only representatives who meet College criteria will be offered Birmingham College representation.

Once you have submitted the application to Birmingham College, you will receive an acknowledgment by email. Your Application will then be assessed, and as soon as a decision has been reached you will be notified of the outcome by email. Please allow a minimum of 10 working days for this assessment.
